Bellinghams Late Strike Earns England A Creditable Draw Against Belgium

England fight back to draw with Belgium at Wembley Stadium as Ivan Toney scores his first England goal

Bellingham's late strike earns England a creditable draw against Belgium

England battled back from two goals down to secure a credible 2-2 draw against Belgium at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

The visitors took the lead through Leandro Trossard in the first half, and doubled their advantage through Dennis Praet shortly after the break.

But England hit back through Ivan Toney, who scored his first goal for his country just minutes after coming on as a substitute.

And Jude Bellingham equalised in stoppage time to earn England a share of the spoils.

The result extended England's unbeaten run to five games, and gave them a boost ahead of their upcoming friendlies against Italy and Germany.

Die Augen der Welt sind auf uns gerichtet

England manager Gareth Southgate was pleased with his team's performance, saying: "I thought we showed great character and determination to come back from 2-0 down.

These are the kind of games that you learn a lot from, and I think we will be better for this experience."
